REC2 Series Abrasive Recycling System
The NORBLAST® REC2 system provides highly efficient suction and separation of recyclable abrasives.
It consists of a pneumatic suction head mounted directly on the dust collector, which is itself connected to a separator positioned on the recycled-abrasive storage silo. The whole unit is designed to be integrated onto a standard 200-litre blaster, model NOB200CE-3S. The system runs on compressed air only, with no electrical supply needed.
How does it work?
Dust and fine particles are separated from the reusable abrasive by a fully adjustable pulsed-air jet system. This adjustment lets the separation process be adapted to the nature and grain size of the abrasives used.
Larger impurities are retained by a screen installed at the base of the silo.
The clean abrasive, free of dust and impurities, is then stored in the silo, ready to be reintroduced into the blaster as soon as it is depressurised.
